All content is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution, meaning you must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.
How to Attribute a CC Image, Video, or Music File
If you are using a Creative Commons image in a scholarly project, then you'll want to cite it in the style you are using (APA, MLA, etc.). If not, you can find advice in "Attribute a Creative Commons Licensed Work," as well as the examples below.
